About PoultryDaur
Pakistan’s poultry sector is worth over a trillion rupees and runs almost entirely on paper. Prices move on rumour, production is never recorded, and the farmer usually learns the day’s rate from the person about to pay it.
We publish three things: daily rates for broiler, eggs, chicks and feed across Pakistani cities; free calculators that turn those rates into the number that actually decides a cycle — cost per kilo; and a verified directory of the businesses that supply this industry.
Everything is free. No sign-up to read a rate, no paywall on a guide, no charge to list a business.
How we work
Rates are entered by hand, every morning.
We do not scrape. Each print is published with the number of settled trades behind it, so you can tell when a rate is thin.
Listings are checked before they go up.
Registration confirmed, premises visited, trading references taken. The directory fills slowly as a result, and that is the point.
Technical content is reviewed by a working vet.
Anything clinical carries a notice until that review has happened. A guide that has not been checked says so.
We show our sources.
Market figures are attributed. Where data is illustrative rather than live, the page says so plainly.
