- Commonly around day 10–12, with a booster roughly ten days later
What to know
- The timing question is maternal antibody: too early and inherited antibodies neutralise the vaccine, too late and there is a window of susceptibility.
- IBD matters beyond itself — a suppressed immune system undermines every other vaccine in the programme.
- Withhold water for one to two hours first so the flock drinks the dose quickly.
